I don’t tame the wild, I train with it.
Dog trainer & reactivity specialist based in Morzine
Feeling overwhelmed with your dog?
01
Do you want a dog who can actually relax on walks, ignore triggers and enjoy life - but you have no idea where to start?
02
Has your training hit a plateau? Maybe you’ve tried everything the internet suggests: "never punish your dog, don't use food, distract them with chicken, you need to be firmer, boundaries are bad...etc etc" . But your dog is still barking, lunging or on edge?
03
Between work, family and life in general, finding time for structured training feels impossible and consistency is slipping.
04
Or maybe you’re simply overwhelmed. Reactivity, behaviour plans, engagement, neutrality… it all feels confusing and you just want clear guidance that actually works.

Testimonial -
“Nicky has been instrumental in forming a strategy to help our GSD recover from reactivity, working with us methodically for months to re-socialise her and avoid further escalation of the behaviour. She’s, patient, loves dogs, strategic and thorough, can't recommend enough.”

How my dog training works
-
Book a no-obligation call to chat about your dog, what’s been going on, and how I can help. It’s an easy first step to see if we’re the right fit.
-
Our first in-person session is all about getting to know you and your dog. I’ll observe their behaviour, environment and your relationship together. It’s also your chance to meet me, chat through my methods and build a plan that fits your dog’s needs. I don’t like to go in blind - this step makes sure we start off on the right foot.
-
I’ve designed a structured 8-week programme and there’s a good reason for that.
My programme format gives you:
• A clear plan and timeline - You know exactly what we’re working towards and how long it will take to get there.
• Accountability and momentum - With a set timeframe, you stay focused and consistent, which is key to lasting behaviour change.
• Real, achievable results - Ten weeks is long enough to make real progress, but short enough to keep you motivated and on track.
• Better value for money - Instead of endless sessions with no clear goal, you get a complete, guided process designed to build skills and confidence, for both you and your dog.
This approach means we can set goals, track progress and actually finish with a dog you feel proud of - not stuck in an open-ended cycle of training sessions.
Every dog is different and so is every plan. Your training programme will be tailored around your dog’s behaviour, your goals and your schedule. It’s built to fit real life, not a one-size-fits-all formula.
You will get a mix of unlimited WhatsApp support from myself, 1-to-1 in person sessions, plus access to my group community meet-up sessions.
-
Sometimes your dog just needs a proper reset - with solid structure and guidance.
That’s exactly what the 5-day bootcamp is for.
Over the week, we work on the core skills reactive dogs struggle with:
• calmer walks
• clearer communication
• confidence building
• neutrality around triggers
• and lowering overall stress
It’s an intensive week designed to break old patterns and help you start fresh with a dog who feels more settled, focused and ready to learn.

“My dog developed ‘anti-social’ behaviours as a result of the Covid pandemic, during which she was never properly socialised. This led to her being fearful and unpredictable around other dogs and certain humans as well.
Since beginning regular dog socialisation, I have noticed a significant difference in her behaviour. She has become more accepting of other dogs and no longer immediately enters a state of fear when encountering them. Both my dog and I are noticeably calmer during walks, and the experience has made a clear and positive difference for us both.”
Want your dog to stop flipping you the middle finger?
I get asked a lot of questions, so here are the ones I hear the most.
-
I am based in Morzine in the French Alps, however I am also available for remote training if you are unable to travel for face to face.
-
Absolutely! A big part of what I do is helping reactive dogs feel calm and confident around others. My training is structured to give every dog motivation, engagement and build confidence in real life scenarios.
-
Yes - I always start with an initial consultation. It’s the best way for us to understand your dog, your goals and what kind of support will actually help. From there, I can tailor a plan or recommend the right sessions so you get the most out of our work together.
-
I train every dog on an individual basis but do not limit to one particular quadrant of operant conditioning.
I use a combination of motivation & rewards, structure and boundaries in my approach. Every dog is different, so I tailor my methods to suit them, always prioritising ethical clear communication and fair expectations.
-
There’s no one-size-fits-all. Prices depend on what kind of support your you and your dog need - my 10 week programme, bootcamps or group socialisation. But, I’m happy to chat through options before you commit with clear pricing, once we understand what will work best for you and your dog. No surprises, no upselling.
-
I offer day training options where I work directly with your dog, but for real, lasting behaviour change, your involvement is key. Training isn’t just about your dog learning - it’s about building new habits and relationship together. We’ll handle the groundwork but then coach you through the follow-up so the results actually stick.
You don’t need to spend hours a day training your dog. Just a few minutes of the right approach can make a huge difference. I’ll show you how to fit training into your normal routine so it works with your life.
-
This completely depends on your dog’s behavioural issues, how long they have been practicing the behaviour, the dog’s willingness to work and most importantly, how consistent you are with training at home.
While some dogs may take more time than others to see lasting results, most of my clients will see considerable improvements in a short time. Remember though - Rome was not built in a day!
